Advisory & Consulting
Strategic consulting and expert guidance
Common Problems
- •Lack of clear security strategy aligned with business objectives
- •Decision-making without full understanding of risks and consequences
- •Lack of proper security governance and risk management processes
- •Challenges in selecting and evaluating security solutions
Our Solution
- ✓Custom Strategy: Developing security strategy aligned with business goals
- ✓Deep Analysis: Full understanding of risks and actionable recommendations
- ✓Governance & Metrics: Establishing governance and risk management processes
- ✓Procurement Support: Assistance in RFP development and proposal evaluation
Our advisory and consulting services are designed for security leaders who need strategic guidance, informed decision-making, and direction in architecture and security governance. We provide expert consulting in security strategy, architecture review, threat modeling, governance, and metrics.
Our focus is the decision, not selling tools. Before any recommendation we measure your current state against frameworks such as the NIST CSF and ISO 27001, prioritize risks by likelihood and impact, and give a roadmap that fits your real budget and team capacity. The advice is vendor-neutral: we recommend a solution based on your need, not the market share of a particular product.

Advisory Disciplines
Our advisory work spans five connected disciplines; you can start with one or combine several within a single roadmap.
What We Need and What You Receive
Advisory work proceeds remotely, based on documentation and interviews; it needs no operational access to systems.
- Access to existing documentation: architecture, policies, and prior assessment results
- Time with a few key people from the technical team and management for interviews
- Clarity on business goals and budget constraints
- A single point of contact for coordination and in-flight decisions
- A prioritized, scheduled security roadmap
- A risk register and a gap-analysis report against the reference standard
- An architecture review document or a system threat model
- Procurement documents such as an RFP and a proposal evaluation matrix

Frequently Asked Questions
We offer comprehensive advisory services including security strategy and roadmap development, secure architecture review, threat modeling, security governance and metrics, disaster recovery and business continuity planning, audit support and supervision, procurement support (RFP development and proposal evaluation), and R&D and emerging technology evaluation.
Our advisory services are designed for security leaders, CISOs, executives, and decision-makers who need strategic guidance, informed decision-making, and direction in security architecture and governance. If you're facing complex security challenges, planning major security initiatives, or need expert guidance on security strategy, our advisory services can help.
Assessment and penetration testing tell you what weaknesses a specific system has right now; advisory stands one step back and addresses how the organization's security program, architecture, and decision-making should be shaped so those weaknesses arise less often to begin with. In practice the two are complementary: assessment findings feed the advisory roadmap, and advisory recommendations decide what to assess next.
Every engagement starts with a scoping session that clarifies the goal, the boundary, and what success looks like. To work accurately we need access to your existing documentation (architecture, policies, prior assessment results) and time with a few key people for interviews, not operational access to systems. Most work is done remotely, with on-site sessions only where they add value. At the end of each phase you receive a written deliverable and a walkthrough session.
Every recommendation is prioritized by risk, not preference. We estimate risk from the combination of likelihood and impact, using methods such as ISO 27005 and NIST SP 800-30. The result is an ordered list in which low-cost, high-impact actions come first, so that even a limited budget yields the greatest reduction in risk.
Threat modeling is a structured process to identify, analyze, and mitigate security threats to your systems. We analyze your architecture, identify potential threats, assess risks, and provide recommendations for security controls. This helps you understand your security posture and prioritize security investments effectively.
Yes, we provide comprehensive procurement support services. We help you develop detailed RFPs (Request for Proposals) that accurately reflect your security requirements, evaluate vendor proposals objectively, compare solutions, and make informed decisions. This ensures you select the right security solutions that meet your needs and budget.
We are not a certification body, but we smooth the path to it. With a gap analysis against Annex A we identify the distance between your current state and the requirements of an Information Security Management System (ISMS), design the necessary policies and procedures, and prepare you for the internal audit and the certification audit. The certificate is issued by an independent body; our role is preparation and support.
A Business Continuity Plan (BCP) addresses how the organization keeps its critical activities running during a disruption; a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) is the more technical part, focused on restoring systems and data after a serious incident. Both are built around two key numbers: the maximum tolerable time to recover (RTO) and the maximum acceptable data loss (RPO). We set these numbers with you for each process and write the plan accordingly, on the basis of ISO 22301.
In an architecture review we examine the system's design before code is written or deployed, so that problems that are expensive to fix later are seen sooner. We trace trust boundaries, data flows, authentication and authorization points, and defensive layers on the architecture diagram, and measure it against principles such as defense in depth and attack-surface minimization. The output is a list of design weaknesses with a suggested fix for each.
Instead of an arbitrary score, we use recognized frameworks. The tiers of the NIST CSF show how defined and repeatable your security processes are, and OWASP SAMM measures the maturity of the software security program across several domains. From these we draw a handful of practical metrics that can be tracked over time, so that progress is seen in numbers rather than by feel.
Depending on the topic, the output can be a prioritized, scheduled security roadmap, a risk register, a gap-analysis report against a standard, an architecture review document, a system threat model, or procurement documents such as an RFP and a proposal evaluation matrix. All deliverables are written in Persian or English and in a form that both management and the technical team can act on.
